A Bangladeshi patient with obstructive colon cancer and liver metastasis traveled far to Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital for treatment. The hospital’s MDT team completed three complex procedures in an 8‑hour one‑stage surgery: stoma closure, laparoscopic left hemicolectomy and anatomical segment 4 hepatectomy. Thanks to bilingual nursing and full coordination by the International Medical Center, the patient recovered well and was discharged safely.
