Policy Notes:
1. The proposer is limited to only one insurance policy for the same insured person during the same insurance period. Multiple applications will be invalid.
2. Limitation on Insured Amount for Minors: According to the "Notice of China Insurance Regulatory Commission on Issues Concerning Personal Insurance for Parents to Insure Their Minors with Death Benefit Conditions" (CIRC No. 90 [2015]), for insured persons under 10 years old, the total death benefit payment shall not exceed CNY 200,000; for insured persons aged 10 to under 18 years old, the total death benefit payment shall not exceed CNY 500,000. The maximum sum insured for minors in this insurance shall be the difference between the limit stipulated by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the sum insured for death benefit already covered by this Company and other insurance companies (excluding the sum insured for accidental death due to aviation and major natural disasters).
3. The insured under this policy must be between 0 and 100 years old. If the insured is 61 years old (inclusive) to 80 years old (inclusive) when the policy takes effect, the insurance amount of the death and disability benefits involved is half (50%) of the insurance amount contained in the above insurance plan, and the insurance premium remains unchanged. If the insured is 81 years of age (inclusive) to 100 years of age (inclusive) when the policy comes into effect, the insurance amount involved in the death, disability and medical expenses related insurance is one-fourth (25%) of the insurance amount contained in the above protection plan, and the premium remains unchanged.
4. The accidental death/disability and accidental death/disability due to high-risk activities cannot be compensated concurrently. Specific conditions are determined based on the cause of the accident.
5. The term "high-risk activities" in this insurance contract refers to adventures, explorations, and tourism undertaken by the insured in caves, polar regions, volcanoes, glaciers, forests, canyons, deserts, oceans, space, or any uninhabited areas. It also includes horse racing or practicing horse racing, equestrian performances or practice, polo, vehicle performances or competitions, practicing vehicle performances or competitions, rowing, skateboarding performances or competitions, water skiing, diving, scuba diving, skiing performances or competitions, high-altitude skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating performances or competitions, ice hockey, rock climbing, climbing independent peaks above 3,500 meters above sea level, bungee jumping, parachuting, martial arts, boxing, wrestling, taekwondo, wingsuit flying, and being in any aircraft or airborne transport (including but not limited to gliders, hang gliders, paragliders, and balloons), excluding those riding ordinary commercial flights as passengers.
6. The insurance company is not liable for accidents resulting from intentionally hazardous actions by the insured. Hazardous actions include but are not limited to: not following the instructions and warnings of guides, leaders, coaches, or on-site safety personnel; violating warnings/prohibitions in scenic areas or local areas; illegally entering routes or areas prohibited by national or local governments.
7. The accidental injury and acute illness medical care responsibility of this policy includes accidental injury medical coverage for high-risk activities, and the maximum compensation limit for this is 50% of the total coverage amount for this item. There is no deductible for this coverage, and the insurance benefit will be paid at a 100% ratio within the insurance amount according to the insurance liability.
8. Under the responsibility of Additional Medical Expense Insurance (Internet Version 2024) clause in this policy, "the medical institutions recognized by the insurer" only refer to the legally operating public hospitals at or above the secondary level within the territory of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions) and hospitals outside China (in the place where the insured person usually resides).
9. The accidental injury and acute illness hospital allowance insurance responsibility of this policy has a maximum cumulative payment period of not more than 180 days(from the date of hospitalization).
10. The flight delay coverage: compensation of RMB 100 for every 4 hours (or part thereof) of flight delay, with a cumulative limit based on the coverage amount.Here, the "flight delay duration" is determined by the longer of the departure delay or the arrival delay of the flight.
11. The baggage delay insurance responsibility of this policy compensates RMB 100 for every 5 hours of delay (inclusive), with a cumulative limit based on the coverage amount.
12. The bank card skimming insurance responsibility of this policy is not applicable to individuals under the age of 18.
